ADOBE is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Doulas to all women regardless of economic status. ADOBE is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Doulas to all women regardless of economic status. ADOBE is a non-profit corporation founded in August of 1995 by Mary Langlois to improve the quality of maternity care and health and well-being of infants and children by providing education and support during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and early childhood development.

 ADOBE is the premier doula organization in Arizona and works with numerous medical professionals, hospitals and community-based organizations to represent doulas in our community. ADOBE hopes to assist families in making their birthing experiences as positive as possible by offering birth doula services, childbirth, breastfeeding, baby care and parenting classes to Arizona families regardless of ability to pay for services.

  • ADOBE has been instrumental in initiating and promoting the Doula profession in the Phoenix area.
  • ADOBE has trained over 750 potential Doulas since 1996, at Doula Training Workshops approved by  DONA International.
  • ADOBE offers DONA group membership and supports Doulas working towards DONA certification.
